So who's writing drabbles? I really hope a few of you are. OK, it's not that easy to write a story in 100 words, but it's a fascinating exercise. I'll post those I receive here (or in fact you can post them straight to the comments on the main post), and if there's enough interest we can get together inworld and talk about them, and the technique.
Deadline is 15 September, remember!
About other events: I am about to come and pester various people into volunteering. Be warned. If you want to avoid this, contact me first!
One idea for a discussion came from the Electronic Literary Macramé event last night, and that's the whole topic of co-authoring (and, in fact, collaborative writing in general). I've done it both professionally and for fun, and would probably summarise it as 'the good, the bad, and the (very) ugly'.
Are any writers who have co-authored interested in co-hosting an event on this subject with me? Leave a comment here, or contact me inworld - preferably by notecard as that saves me losing IMs in the (oh-so-unlikely) event of SL crashing before I've jotted things down.
Have a good week, everybody - and let me know if you're interested in contributing to this blog?
